SALT ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

This movie was so good. So many unexpected things happened and it was so thrilling, a great action movie! I'm not surprised that Angelina Jolie was totally kick-A. If I was a super-hero, I would be Evelyn Salt.PS totally fell in love with this guy, Salt's husband in the movie. Talk about a touching love story.

Something to blog about

Something important has been on my mind lately...

Here are my ideas. Discuss.I have at least two functions to attend, so I'm planning on at least two different costumes.

Or, do you have any better suggestions?

And YES... I'm aware it's July.

I knew I'd like this movie, and I did. Totally original and interesting the entire way through! I really liked how the movie was cast, especially Arthur (Joe Gordon-Levitt) and Eames, though Saito (Ken Watanabe), Cobb (Leo), Ariadne (Ellen Paige) and Mal (Marion Cotillard) were kind of awesome too. If you haven't seen this movie, you should.Umm... totally found this article that you should read once you've seen the movie! It is VERY interesting.

Brenda came to visit me from NY and we had a great time! We walked around the monuments at night, and it was super fun.
It was also SUPER hot. Andrew decided rolling the jeans was an absolute must. At the WWII monument, Oregon and California are friends!Come back again soon!!!

Where the Wild Things Are

This movie was filled with turmoil. There were some very touching scenes, and I think I shed at least one tear at the end. But mostly, turmoil. And I was a little scared of the wild things at times too!My favorite part was when KW said "I'll eat you up I love you so." She was the nicest monster. I also liked this monster below, Carol (though he was unpredictable!)

I know what you're thinking...

aren't I a little old to be wearing a Jurassic Park T-shirt? The answer is no. Especially when there's a Rubic's Cube involved. Got it at Snorg Tees which is almost as great a site as

I only took two pics that weren't of sailing in Santa Barbara this year!
Mom and Shelby (and me)...
Shelby and me and Courtney. I don't really think I'm that much taller than them, but maybe I am...

For our birthday we went sailing in Santa Barbara! It was fun. Here I am manning the helm with Jon (who got to hoist some rigging!)
Driving the boat was fun.
We sailed out toward the oil derricks and Santa Cruz island.
Beautiful day! Shelby and Jon took a moment to get their sea legs! Happy Anniversary!
Jon was legit with his boat shoes. Shelby and Dave sailing...2 x 27 = awesome.
Sibs sailing...
Happy Birthday to us!

Ode to Dylan

My friends and I went to dinner tonight at this great Thai place.
I had to take pics of us all because
one of my really good friends is MOVING AWAY
for which I am very sad. :(
I just hope he comes back soon! He is so fun and funny and I LOVE HIM. The end.
